We will investigate how Cribl Edge and Stream can complement an OpenTelemetry deployment in Kubernetes by providing central management of an OTel collector's instrumentation and additional processing capabilities of the telemetry it collects. Allowing OTel's language-specific Instrumentation Libraries to instrument traces, logs, and metrics directly from widely used Kubernetes services directly to Cribl Stream. Cribl can therefore serve as a unified fleet management platform for both deployments, while also using Edge to collect logs and metrics from the cluster itself.
