Are you curious about how to get the most out of Cribl’s products or want to connect with like-minded individuals to expand your skills with IRL user groups? Look no further than Cribl Curious, the online community designed for Cribl users to ask and answer technical questions, share knowledge, and connect with others in the industry. Today, we’re excited to unveil the brand new Cribl Curious! It brings exciting new features to take your Cribl experience to the next level. We recognized the need for a more reliable and versatile platform, one that could continuously improve and expand past just forums. The new platform offers users the ability to connect with others in local areas through user groups, show off their accomplishments with shiny digital badges, and enjoy a more seamless and user-friendly experience. Read on to learn more about the new Curious!

Why the Relaunch?

The previous instance of Curious was not meeting your needs. It was brittle, and as you all can likely relate to, that means taking valuable time away from enhancing the user experience. The new platform is much more reliable, allowing us to focus on improving the site and adding new features. Like with any good software solution, we had a little technical debt we needed to solve, so we’ve done that! Don’t worry, all your existing questions and answers (and your points!) have been migrated to the new platform!

Now with IRL User Groups

Curious is expanding past just forums. With the re-launch, we are introducing user groups. User groups will allow people in local areas to meet up and expand their skills. This feature will encourage people to connect with like-minded data sherpas and Cribl enthusiasts in their area and create a sense of community around learning how to best manage observability and security

Badges

One of the most exciting features of the new Curious platform is digital badges. With the new system, users will be able to show off their accomplishments with shiny digital badges. These badges will serve as a visual representation of your Cribl certifications after you have so many questions posted, or help other Cribl customers with their questions.

Enhanced User Experience

The new Curious platform was designed with the user experience in mind. The site is more intuitive and user-friendly, making it easier for users to navigate and find the content they’re looking for. The new design also makes it easier for users to track their progress helping other Cribl users.

Account Migration

We’ve done the hard work to make it easy for existing users to sign right into the new system using our Single Sign On platform. If you have an account on the old system, you’ll sign in with your existing login credentials for the new platform.

Go Give It a Try!

Cribl Curious

We know Slack is where you’ve been going to get questions answered but come give Curious a try!

  • One: Points! Points that are redeemable for not only badges (ahem: street cred!) but those points earn you points in the Cribl store–stocked with stickers, t-shirts, hoodies, and more.
  • Two: It’s easier to Search to see if your question has been answered. Slack Search, is not as bueno.
  • Three: Tagging makes it easy to track the integrations, and features, and helps you quickly find what you are looking for!
  • Four: Now with User group signup, so you can get together with folks IRL over beers and sodas. Aren’t we already for a little more IRL in our lives?

The new platform is more reliable, versatile, and user-friendly, making it easier for users to expand their skills and connect with like-minded individuals. The addition of user groups and digital badges encourages users to continue learning and provides recognition for their hard work.
