The legal and information security teams in enterprise software have always benefited from a robust partnership. So too has IT and InfoSec. As more services and data continue to migrate to the cloud in parallel with an evolving and increasingly complex regulatory landscape, these partnerships and the communication between them are more crucial now than ever.

For this reason, I am thrilled and honored to step into the role of Senior Vice President of Legal, Security, and IT at Cribl. The potential of joining a future generational company and leading these pivotal teams in support of Cribl’s ambitious growth trajectory is an opportunity of a lifetime, a privilege, and an important responsibility.

While these teams, on the surface, seem to only impact internal operations, the reality is that our legal, IT, and security functions are just as important to our customers. We sell to the teams who are managing security and IT data, so the security of our products, our cloud, and our operations is critically important to them. We’re not just another service provider but a trusted partner.

What’s Next for Cribl?

I’ve spent the last few weeks getting to know our teams, and I am excited about this new chapter for Cribl. Our journey ahead is not just about scaling our programs or expanding compliance functions for the sake of it. It’s about living out our values, including our customers-first mentality. Robust governance, compliance and security programs, undergirded by a best-in-class IT function, is about putting our customers first. We have demonstrated our dedication to our customers’ success by achieving SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications and delivering solutions that help our customers comply with regulatory frameworks like GDPR and HIPAA. With important initiatives like FedRAMP on the horizon, our security and compliance journey is just beginning.

I am incredibly thankful to our customers, our founders, our team, and our investors. We know that the security environment is challenging for companies of all sizes. Data is growing at an unsustainable pace. Security and IT teams need new solutions to deal with the growth they’re experiencing. They need solutions that give them back control.
