Introducing Cribl Marketplace: A central place to discover and deploy apps

Last edited: August 19, 2026

We recently introduced a new app framework that makes it easy for anyone to build apps on Cribl’s shared telemetry platform. It’s only been two months but more than 20 apps have already been created and made available through our GitHub community org.

GitHub is a great home for these apps: it gives developers a place to collaborate, contribute, and iterate. But for someone who simply wants to find an app and get it to work, getting started may require a few extra steps. You had to find the right repository, grab the GitHub URL, import it from an external endpoint, and configure everything manually — a more complex process than we want app users to experience.

Which is why we’re excited to introduce the new Cribl Marketplace. Cribl Marketplace gives apps a central home where they can be discovered and installed directly within Cribl, making it easier for users to start using an app.

Today, Cribl Marketplace is available within Cribl.Cloud for cloud and hybrid leaders. In the future, Marketplace will have a dedicated URL outside the cloud platform, making it accessible to everyone—not just existing Cribl customers—to browse, discover, and explore the growing ecosystem of apps.

Turn common challenges into ready-to-use solutions

Cribl Marketplace and the apps available within it are designed to help teams solve real operational challenges with less effort.

Prebuilt apps can help you:

  • Accelerate common workflows without starting from a blank page

  • Extend Cribl with capabilities tailored to specific use cases

  • Connect Cribl data and processes to the systems your teams already use

  • Reduce the time and resources required to build and maintain custom solutions

  • Give users a faster path to value from the Cribl platform

The goal is not simply to provide more software. It is to make it easier for teams to apply Cribl to the problems that matter most.

Built for flexibility and choice

Every organization has different tools, processes, and priorities. Cribl Marketplace supports that reality by bringing together solutions from multiple sources.

You can discover apps built by Cribl, partners, and community developers, with information to help you understand what each app does and how it can fit into your environment. The Marketplace vision includes a broader catalog that brings Apps and Packs together under a unified discovery experience.

This approach gives teams more choice while preserving the flexibility that is central to Cribl: use the capabilities you need, connect them to the systems you already have, and avoid being locked into a single path.

From discovery to deployment

Our vision for the Cribl Marketplace is to make the journey from discovery to adoption as straightforward as possible.

Start by browsing available apps and filtering by the type of solution, publisher, product, tags, support model, certification status, or recency. Then review the details that matter before installation, including the app overview, permissions, external API access, files, support information, and version history.

This transparency helps administrators make informed decisions and gives end users greater confidence in the solutions they bring into their environment.

Once you find the right app, you can install it and begin extending your Cribl workflows—without spending weeks designing and assembling every component yourself.

A growing ecosystem for Cribl

Developers and partners can share their expertise with the Cribl community by publishing their apps in Marketplace.

Developers can create solutions that address specific customer needs, publish them through a standardized process, and provide customers with a clear path to adoption. Cribl’s Marketplace roadmap includes automated readiness checks, security scanning, review workflows, publisher verification, and certification signals designed to strengthen trust across the ecosystem.

For customers, that means more relevant solutions to choose from. For developers and partners, it means a clearer way to extend Cribl and reach teams looking for practical, ready-to-use capabilities.

Start building what comes next

The best platforms do more than provide products and features. They help teams adapt quickly as priorities change.

Cribl Marketplace gives organizations a faster way to discover and deploy prebuilt apps, extend the Cribl platform, and turn telemetry into action. It helps teams spend less time rebuilding common capabilities and more time solving the problems that move the business forward.
