From the day that Clint Sharp, Ledion Bitincka, and Dritan Bitincka founded Cribl, they had a clear vision for the workplace they wanted to create. “We want Cribl to be the place where you can do your best work” is a phrase often repeated by our founders. And as Cribl has grown to more than 500 employees, we’ve remained committed to ensuring that Cribl is a great place to work for all employees. Today, Cribl won two more awards recognizing our amazing Goats and the culture we’ve built and continue to evolve: Forbes named Cribl to its America’s Best Small Employers list of 2023 and Fortune named Cribl to its Best Workplaces for Millennials list of 2023.
Cribl Named to Forbes America’s Best Small Employers 2023
Cribl earned a spot on Forbes’ inaugural list of America’s Best Small Employers. Just 300 companies nationwide made the cut, and winners were determined from the tens of thousands of companies that employ more than 200 people, but less than 1,000. Forbes teamed up with Statista to select the winners based on the following aspects:
Employee Satisfaction / Public Opinion Data: Direct and indirect recommendations given by employees anonymously through online surveys were taken into consideration. Additionally, employee retention (average length of employment in relation to founding year and industry) was considered.
Social Listening Data: The sentiment reflected in various sources across thousands of social media posts related to the company’s relationship with its employees is identified through an algorithm and deemed either positive, negative, or neutral based on textual analysis.
This award marks Cribl’s second Forbes award this year, having previously been named #7 on the Forbes Best Startup Employers list in March 2023.
Cribl Named to Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials 2023
Cribl also placed #13 on the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials list, marking our first appearance on the list and second Fortune award this year after earning the #2 spot on the Best Workplaces in the Bay Area list. To determine the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials list, Great Place to Work collected nearly 500,000 responses from millennials at companies eligible for the list. To be considered, companies had to be Great Place to Work Certified and have at least 50 millennial employees in the U.S. In this highly competitive list, survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.
“With the largest share of the workforce today, the workplace experience of millennials says a lot about your organization,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “These workers are looking for authentic leadership, meaningful work, and a healthy work environment — and they show loyalty to those who can deliver.”
“Congratulations to all of the Best Workplaces for Millennials finalists,” says Fortune Editor-in-Chief Alyson Shontell. “These companies are setting themselves up for continued success by committing to the purpose-driven work that attracts the next generation of business talent.”
