What do you get when you throw 50,000 attendees together with Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi in Las Vegas? Lightsaber battles and demos from Cribl Jedis fighting for the liberation of customer data from vendor lock-in, of course! AWS re:Invent 2022 was a total hit this year and we had such a great time showcasing to AWS customers how easy it is to realize the full potential of the cloud by unlocking data first. The week was full of exciting new launches, talks, happy hours, and more! Check out some highlights from re:Invent 2022.
Some companies lock your observability and security data in. We break it free. With unlocked data, you can send it to the most effective destinations including low-cost storage like S3 for long-term retention. With Cribl Stream, you can route data to the best tool for the job by translating and formatting data into any tooling schema required. At our Star Wars-themed re:Invent booth, the crowd joined Obi-Wan Kenobi in a Cribl Rebellion against “Darth Vendor Lock-In,” showing AWS customers how they can leverage Cribl to free their data from proprietary formats. Our Cribl Jedi experts gave out Cribl lightsabers and demos of our new product, Cribl Search, which gives customers the ability to efficiently query data at rest, at the edge, and in S3. Didn’t get one? It’s not too late! Read on for more exciting updates!
AWS released an exciting new service at re:Invent: Amazon Security Lake, which allows customers to build a security data lake from integrated cloud and on-premises data sources as well as from their private applications using the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF)… and we’re a launch partner! With Cribl’s support of OCSF and integration with Amazon Security Lake, enterprises can quickly and cost-effectively analyze security-relevant telemetry and log data across multiple tools, technologies, and vendors. Learn more about Cribl’s integration with Amazon Security Lake, which gives customers the power to choose data from any source and convert it into OCSF format, without having to reformat the data on their own.
Cribl featured as an Amazon Security Lake launch partner at AWS CEO Adam Selipsky’s keynote at re:Invent 2022.
In recognition for delivering security-focused solutions for specific workloads and with demonstrated success in helping enterprises adopt, develop, and deploy complex security projects on AWS, Cribl achieved its AWS Security Competency last week. With Cribl’s solutions, customers can get the security data they want, in the formats they need, and send it wherever they want it to go – ultimately enabling enterprises to take back control of their data. This marks Cribl’s second AWS Competency as it also holds the AWS Data and Analytics Competency.
Cribl simplifies data routing for the newly announced Account Customization functionality within AWS Control Tower. Customers can now use AWS Control Tower to define account blueprints that scale their multi-account provisioning without starting from scratch with every AWS account. Stream’s routing and shaping capabilities in its purpose-built observability pipeline allow customers to route data from any source to AWS Control Tower, then easily transit it to any destination, whether it be to an S3 bucket for long term retention, or any log analytics platform. Learn how to use Cribl Stream on AWS Control Tower.
As part of this launch, Cribl Stream has been packaged into an AWS Partner Solution. This AWS Quick Start acts as an automated reference deployment for key workloads on the AWS Cloud. This led to Cribl’s feature as an AWS partner success story, for its collaboration with the AWS Integration and Automation team to give customers dealing with complex environments the ability to deploy Cribl Stream within minutes.
Cribl featured as an Account Factory Customization for AWS Control Tower launch partner at re:Invent session “Building ready-to-use customer experiences with partner solutions.”
Cribl featured as a partner success story for its collaboration with AWS to give customers the ability to deploy Cribl Stream within minutes on AWS.
